I'm Claire. I've been a florist for over 30 years and have worked in many areas of the flower industry. I'm based in Tile Cross in Birmingham and now spend the majority of my flowery time teaching. I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge and love of floral design.
It was during a visit to my favourite teaching venue @castlebromwichhallgardens that I had the idea of a floral event within the gardens. I reached out to my flowery friends, and the response was amazing! I'm so excited to be working alongside these talented ladies and can't wait for our Floral Art Trail 

  I am a flower grower and floral designer in Worcestershire.
I have worked as a freelance florist for many years, having trained in my home country of Sweden. seven years ago I started a cut-flower garden at our 1.5 acre small-holding; it has grown rapidly! My longstanding passion for the natural world and the beautiful surroundings of rural Worcestershire inspire my work. I follow organic principles, using seasonal flowers and locally-sourced materials and avoiding the likes of pesticides and floral foam.
My growing season is from April to October but I also produce dried flowers and foliage and specialise in wreaths during the Christmas and Easter seasons. 

  Hi. I'm Louise, I'm a floral designer based in Kings Heath, Birmingham. I have a fine art background, and around 7 years ago, took a floral design qualification. I have spent years honing my skills and now enjoy creating florals for all life events. I love to work with British grown, for their movement, delicate textures, and beautiful scent. I am so excited to take part in this special event, celebrating sustainability, floral design, and locally grown, in the very special @castlebromwichhallgardens 

 I'm Ashley, a qualified florist based in the heart of Birmingham. I take pride in being the owner of Ash Tree Floral Designs, a small business that specialises in creating quirky and creative wedding florals and hosting fun and relaxed workshops. In addition to my running my business, I share my passion for floristry as a NCFE level 2 floristry instructor at Birmingham Metropolitan College and by leading leisure flower arranging courses at Birmingham Adult Education.
My dedication to floristry education and skills is very important to me. I constantly seek ways to refine and advance my abilities, ensuring I can consistently deliver a high standard of work to my customers and maintain excellence in teaching for my students. Currently, I'm on a journey towards achieving my City and Guilds Level 3 Technical Diploma at Moreton Morrell College.
One of my core values is a commitment to sustainable floristry. I refrain from using floral foam and opt for British-grown seasonal flowers whenever possible. This ethos has led me to establish strong connections with local flower growers, contributing to an eco-friendlier and community-focused approach in my floral designs.
My flower style is relaxed and wild and I love to use bright colours in my designs. This aesthetic not only allows me to express my creativity but also resonates with the vibrant and diverse community in Birmingham. I strive to inject my passion for all things floral, energy and creativity into every aspect of my work, whether it's designing for weddings, hosting workshops, or teaching budding florists! 

I am a floral designer based in South Staffordshire specialising in weddings and events. I started my business in February 2019 going full time in January 2020. My passion for flowers derives from my passion for nature where I am often found exploring woodlands and forests and roaming National Trust gardens, this inspires my ‘just grown here’ designs. As such I run my business as sustainably as possible using British Grown flowers and recently venturing to create my own cutting patch. As a way of giving back to nature for every couple who book their wedding with me, I plant a new tree sapling with the National Trust 

 Hi, I'm Steph the owner of The Little Flower Shed based in Worcestershire. My love of flowers started with my nan the original florist in the family who owned the Posey Bowl in Birmingham in the 1960’s .

Six years ago I started my journey into the floristry world and have since enjoyed creating all types of designs from large pieces to small intricate ones. Along with my passion for floral design, I have also discovered my love of growing my own flowers. Four years ago after having my little boy, we started a mini cut flower patch which has now expanded to three more over the last few years.

This is my first year growing for myself, but I have worked for the past four years with Alex @farmcoteflowers, enjoying it all so much , I'm now fortunate enough to have started my own Growing business .

I have been in Horticulture for more than 20 years ! First studying, then teaching and establishing my Gardening Business. I love growing and propagating Plants, and designing Planting Schemes.
